Snowman Christmas card

We recently had a run of record high (90+) weather. Now that it has started to cool down and feel like Fall again, I decided it was time to make another Christmas card. I picked Snowmanpeeker from Bugaboo Stamps to use for the Bugaboo Stamp Challenge over on CraftingCircle.com. As I’ve said before, check out Bugaboo Stamps for some really cute digi stamps and CraftingCircle for some great blogs.

Anyway, I made some hot chocolate, threw on some Christmas music and started coloring.

The snowman was colored with my usual mishmash of Copics, Chameleons and Spectrum Noir pens. I colored the ‘snow’ with clear Wink of Stella (hard to see, but really glitters in person). The silver snowflakes were from my ‘stash’. The sentiment is from the “SnowDay” set by Mary at CardzTV Stamps. Popped it on a card base from Holiday Basics by The Paper Studio that I picked up on clearance at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago and done!

Then I decided to color a blue snowman. Same as above except I put ‘googly’ eyes from my stash on him and used white instead of silver stars.

For both cards I stamped a sentiment inside from the “Holly Jolly” set by Mary at CardzTV Stamps. And done- two more Christmas cards finished. So, which card do you like better? The red and green or the blue with googly eyes? Let me know- I can’t decide.
